Based on the 2011 population census, the Municipality of Ferizaj has 108,690 inhabitants – about half of them living in its 44 villages. In addition to the Albanian population, about 2.06% of the population is of other nationalities, such as Ashkali, Roma, Gorani and Serbs.

Regarding religious affiliation, the Muslim religious affiliation dominates in the Municipality of Ferizaj thus constituting 98.63% of the total number of inhabitants. The second largest religious community is the Catholic one, which makes up 0.38% of the inhabitants.
